My first web widget
I have been exploring how to make widgets that can be made available on our website(s). My very first one is a celebratory cake image generator. The function, in this case, may be whimsical, but the intent is very serious: to have something we can use to encourage people via social media to visit our website. I have a couple of ideas for decidedly more useful widgets, including one for comparing retirement village contracts and one or two for travellers.
Anyhow, feel free to have a play with the cake maker. It was generated by Claude AI, and uses Gemini for the actual image. Let me know if you encounter any bugs.

Malin is away — office hours may vary
Our office manager Malin is in Sweden visiting family for the next few weeks. We will do our best to keep the office open with the help of member volunteers, but cannot 100% guarantee it will always be staffed or that the club rooms will be open. The office will also close early on Fridays, at noon. If you need an office service, please call ahead before making the trip — (03) 9276 4000, office hours 9:30 am – 4:30 pm (noon on Fridays).
